Air Jordan 19

Release date: March 2004 Head Designer: Tate Kuerbis After the official retirment of Michael Jordan, people were wondering how Air Jordan would plan its future. Inspired by the relations between Michael Jordan and the the rise of Air Jordan, Jordan Brand continued its way of success. That is to sign new stars in NBA and other fields and Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Carmelo Anthony and of course Ray Allen were contracted under Jordan Brand. And Air Jordan 19 were launched in various colourways for these stars. The Air Jordan 19 are widely regarded one of the best work in Air Jordan history. First, Jordan 19 was inspired by The Black Mamba, the most poisonous snake on earth, which gave sneakerheads the impression that this new Air Jordan is speed-oriented. Second. It is a great work of team efforts. Just as Air Jordan 18 Tate Kuerbis (Jordan Senior Footwear Designer) was the driving force of the model but he was highly supported by persons such as Jason Mayden, Wilson Smith, Josh Heard and Suzette Henri, so maybe one could say that this was the largest joint effort within Air Jordan design ever
